Port Gamble Historic Museum Now Open

Port Gamble has a rich history, and what better way to explore it, than taking a step back in time at our historic museum. The Port Gamble historic museum is now open this May through September, Thursdays - Sundays 12pm-5pm. Admission is free! The building which houses this museum was built in 1916 as a millsite office. The museum opened in 1976 and is home to a plethora of treasures from the sawmill which operated from 1853-1995,  and displays other valuable items from Port Gamble's history.
