This handmade Binga basket is a traditional grain winnowing basket from the Batonga people of Zimbabwe. It is shallow and round with a square bottom, with a brown and natural pattern. It has a sturdy rim, is lightweight, and is tightly woven. It is approximately 12" in diameter by 1 1/2" deep, and displays well on a wall or in a plate stand.
