This beautiful handmade Binga basket is a traditional product from Zimbabwe, where it is used by the BaTonga people for winnowing grain. It is round with a cream and dark coffee colored flower pattern and a brown rim. It is approximately 13" in diameter and 1.5" deep.
Binga baskets are woven from vines and palm leaves, and are sometimes colored with natural dyes.
