This beautiful handmade Binga basket is a traditional product from Zimbabwe, where it is used by the Batonga people for winnowing grain. It is round with a natural and coffee colored pattern and a brown rim. It is approximately 14" in diameter and 2" deep.
Binga baskets are woven from vines and palm leaves, and are sometimes colored with natural dyes.
