This small, shallow Binga basket is a traditional grain winnowing basket from Zimbabwe. It is round with a brown and cream pattern. This lightweight basket is approximately 12" in diameter by 1.5" deep, and displays well on a wall or in a plate stand. These baskets are sometimes called Tonga baskets, after the BaTonga people who weave them.
