This sturdy, round pine needle basket is a fair trade product from a Mayan weaving group in Guatemala. Handwoven from pine needles and raffia, it is round with straight sides and features shades of brown, natural, blue, and purple. It is about 10" in diameter and 3" deep, a good size for holding bread or fruit. It includes an information card with the name of the weaver on it. Because each basket is handmade, the one you receive may vary slightly from the one in the image, although it will be very similar.
