Our pine needle baskets are fair trade products from Mayan weaving groups in Guatemala. We now offer brand new styles we haven't carried before. Handwoven from pine needles and wild grass, these baskets are each so useful as they are beautiful, and are sturdy enough for daily use. Since its founding in 1989 Mayan Hands, has been guided by the principles of Fair Trade combined with high standards of product quality. Your basket, a product of Mayan Hands, is made by one of their 200 cloth and basket weavers who live in rural communities around the western and northern highlands of Guatemala. Each basket includes an information card with the name of the weaver on it. We hope our wide selection can offer you the perfect basket for your home.
