Sevya is a small business based in North Charleston, South Carolina with production in India. It was founded in 2002 and is known for beautiful handmade clothing and textiles. "Sevya" is a Sanskrit word that means "caring through service," and is well suited to their mission to preserve the indigenous art forms and cultures of India by supporting the artisan communities who uphold these traditions. One of our favorite Sevya products is the reversible kantha silk sari scarf, another one of our products handmade from recycled silk sari material. Each of our unique/work of art silk scarfs are hand-stitched, hand-embroidered and have handmade tassels. Makes a beautiful table runner.
