This African straw hat was handmade in Ghana. Tightly woven and stiff-brimmed with a braided leather adjustable chin strap, it is an excellent sun hat. It fits a 21.5"-22.5" circumference head and the brim is 16.5" across. Handmade from elephant grass and goatskin in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana, and sometimes referred to as a Bolga hat.

To shape the hat, wet it and put it over your head, then remove it and allow it to dry. It will conform to the shape of your head and also will stretch as much as .25" if necessary.
