This fair trade Gambibgo pot basket is striking and durable. It is bulb-shaped with an open top and a flexible goatskin handle. This beautiful African basket is approximately 14" in diameter at the bottom, 16" at its widest point, and narrowing to 12" at the top. It is approximately 12" deep, not including the handle. It is equally functional as a tote or storing newspapers, magazines, yarn, and other household items.

To clean or re-shape your Bolga basket, simply wet it with cool water, clean and shape it as needed (use mild soap only and avoid wetting the leather), and allow it to air dry.
Gambibgo pot baskets are crafted in the Gambibgo community, near Bolgatanga in Ghana. They are woven from abundant local elephant grass, and the handles are made from goat skin.
