This beautiful handmade Binga basket is a traditional fair trade product from Zimbabwe, where it is used for winnowing grain. It is round with a simple natural and brown pattern and a brown rim. It is approximately 15" in diameter and 2.5" deep. Binga baskets are shallow and lightweight, making them easy to mount on a wall. They are woven from vines and palm leaves, and are sometimes colored with natural dyes.
