This beautiful handmade Binga basket is a traditional product from Zimbabwe, where it is used for winnowing grain. It is round with a square bottom, and has an espresso and natural pattern with a coffee brown rim. It is approximately 19" in diameter and 4" deep. Binga baskets are shallow and lightweight, easy to display on a wall or plate stand. They are woven from vines and palm leaves, and sometimes colored with natural dyes.
